SonicBuzz Festival

SonicBuzz Festival - NEWS....

Welcome to the brand new web-page on the Official DMMG labels web-page solely dedicated to the brand new music festival SonicBuzz.

SonicBuzz is a brand new music festival being organised by DMMG Management & Promotions, and sponsored by the DMMG music labels, this is not to say that it will solely be DMMG bands and artists who play at the festival... because it won't... we will be welcoming bands and artists signed and unsigned on the bill roster of the music festival whether they have a record label with someone else? Ourselves with DMMG Records or Seventh Hell Recordings, or are an independent unsigned band?

At the moment it is, very early days of organising the festival.... we had just booked and paid for the venue...!!!

But we are looking at having a bill of 4 or 5 bands/artists featured at each festival.... Three of the five bands/artists have already confirmed that they will perform on the bill roster for the first event this year.... but when and where is it we hear you ask? (*See Below)

Venus Fly Trap.

*Northampton, UK based alternative rock band formed in 1986 with approx. 9 albums under their belt the band feature Alex Novak and Andy Denton, the band have had releases via SPV Poland, Spectre, Cherry red, Glass Miniature, and Glass Modern, record labels. Genre wise they have been labelled as Darkwave, Electro, Post-Punk, Sci-Fi Rock, Psychedelic Post-Punk, and much more.... the band are legends of the Alternative and Underground, with their unique blend of Electro Post Punk that is guaranteed to entertain any music fan. They played live for DMMG Management & Promotions way back about 17 years ago at the Wolverhampton Varsity.... and we are only happy to have them back performing at this festival... be prepared to be astounded...!!!

Chaos Bleak.

*The Gothic Super Group from the fair city of Nottingham in the UK, Chaos Bleak are hailed as the Black Sabbath for the Gothic Genre, with influences such as Black Sabbath, Hawkwind, Killing Joke and Play Dead, Chaos Bleak's first release with their new record label - Seventh Hell Recordings was the "Deathtrain" single released on Friday 13th December 2024, with a music video for the single title track produced by DikajeEpic, the band's 3rd studio album is due for release in the summer of 2025, the band have already recorded 6 songs for the forthcoming studio album with more on the way.... This album will be followed by a live album shortly after.... see elsewhere for an extensive list of gigs and tour dates for Chaos Bleak, if you would like to catch them live before the festival appearance?

Band/Artist - to be confirmed.

Ro Eggleston.

*Ro Eggleston, labels herself as a professional singer with over a decade of experience!

We caught her live for the first time when Chaos Bleak performed at the Yorkshireman Live in Sheffield recently and Ro Eggleston was the opening/support act (a big shout out to Glenn and Red Pen Promotions for putting on that gig... thank you!!!) And we were impressed by her voice, youth and energy... Ro reminded us of a west end/broadway style band in a box performer... kinda like a Frances Ruffelle (Starlight Express, Les Miserables, etc) but with a gothic/darkwave band in a box feel to her music... she is a powerhouse solo performer we expect could possibly do great things in the future as she grows with experience....

Ticket Price: £15.00 GBP advanced ticket purchase + Booking Fee/Admin. Fee/Postage & Packaging (Physical Tickets posted recorded delivery in the UK). Tickets will be available on the DMMG website in the DMMG Shop very soon..... so watch this space and keep tabs on the website for more news...!!!!!

As we have said above... it is the early days of organising the festival.... artists and bands who have asked DMMG Management & Promotions for gigs in the past... we have invited some of them to perform at the SonicBuzz Festival... and are awaiting some of the artists and bands responses to see who will be confirmed on the bill/roster of performers.... if the festival is successful (and we hope it will be?) then we will look at the potential of having the festival twice each year... a Summer Festival and a Winter Festival... if all things go to plan?

And of course we will be organising other gigs and tours in the future too.... via DMMG Management & Promotions.
